Coin Collecting Help needed with translations?
Ok i have been collecting coins for past 8 or 9 years. my grand father ( who is very old ) decided to give me his collection. i start to make a log of them. and finished about half 
now i have a prob
their are some coins form middle east and i can't understand a dam thing on them ( some of them don't even have a single English letter on them )
could some one help me translate them ?
i have come thing like 50 coins

To look up coins in Arabic as well as the Asian languages or characters is not too hard most of the time, if one has the books and most important the coin in front of them or at least photo's of both sides. I have the books but not the coins in front of me. In this case descriptions won't help. It may be best to go to a large library and see if they have the Krause/Mishler Standard Catalogs of World Coins 1600-2008.It is 5 volumes 4 now are on DVD.
